A gleaming pinkish-red hue sets the stage for this inviting and layered wine. The nose reveals a complex array of aromas: red-skinned and sour plums, dried grasses, and sweet-sour cherries, all wrapped in a generous core of red fruit. There’s a subtle herbal note, but the overall impression is of fully ripe fruit.
On the palate, it’s a textural wine, with flavor and structure in harmony. Though the wine underwent skin fermentation, the tannins are gentle, allowing the red-fruit tea character to shine. Best enjoyed cool rather than overly chilled, it offers a rounded mouthfeel and a long, fresh finish.
