Karasakiz variety is native to the north of Mount Ida (Aegean Region), close to the site of ancient Troy. Bush vines averaging 30-35 years, it is fermented with native yeast. It is unfiltered, bottle aged for 3 months before being released. Vibrant red cherry in colour, with aromas of raspberry, wild cherry and cranberry. On the palate, it is deep-fruited and savoury with great acidity and gentle tannins.
